World Team Trials Challenge

The event was a great showing for the team! Luke Sheridan, Peyton Omania and Mason Hartshorn finished 3rd at the World Team Trials Challenge Tournament.

The World Team Trials Challenge Tournament features top Olympic hopefuls in the three Olympic disciplines: men’s freestyle, women’s freestyle and Greco-Roman. Winners and some of the runners-up will advance to Final X in June.
Final X is the last step in the Senior World Team Trials process. which will determine the 2022 U.S. Senior World Team that will compete in Belgrade, Serbia, Sept. 12-18. USA Wrestling will announce the sites for 2022 Final X events in the near future.

The boys (Dwayne Guerrero, Luke Sheridan, Riley Briggs and Peyton Omania) put it all on the line and competed very well! The WCG finished with a 7th, 4th and National Champion. We will be sending 3 to the World Team Trials in Iowa later this month! Thank you to everyone who was a part of this process of getting the West Coast Greco RTC up and running! We are excited for the future!
